Keke’s Breakfast Cafe, the restaurant chain that brings you fresh breakfast every day, is opening a Pembroke Pines location.

Heron Enterprises, LLC recently filed permit applications with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation to open a Keke’s Breakfast Cafe at 10800 Pines Boulevard, Unit 15. The location is across from Pembroke Lakes Mall and just off of S. Hiatus Road. An opening date has not been announced.

Keke’s Breakfast Cafe was founded in Central Florida in 2006 by Keith and Kevin Mahen. The restaurant became popular for its American breakfasts that focus on fresh ingredients. Signature dishes like pancakes and omelets are served daily from early morning until mid afternoon. Specialty items include French toast stuffed with Nutella and banana, and French toast stuffed with pecans, caramel, and chocolate. The restaurant also offers its, “Florida’s best pancakes” in buttermilk, blueberry, chocolate chip, apple-cinnamon, and more. Savory options include omelets, burgers, salads, and wraps.

The restaurant was acquired by Denny’s Corporation in 2022, and now has more than 60 locations throughout Tennessee, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Colorado, Nevada, and California.
