Cowy Burger, the smash burger that was named the “Very Best Burger” at the 2024 South Beach Wine & Food Festival’s Burger Bash, is opening a new location in Doral.

Cowy Doral LLC recently filed permit applications with the Florida department of Business and Professional Regulation to open a Cowy Burger at 8400 NW 53rd Street, Suite F107. No official opening date has been announced.

Cowy Burger started as a pop-up by Diego J. Machicao and his brother Daniel Machicao, along with friends Carlos Reveron and Guillermo Felipe. The burgers quickly grew a loyal following at the planned pop-ups at J. Wakefield Brewing and 12 Street Beer & Pizza. The burgers also amassed critical approval by local media and was eventually crowned the best at the annual South Beach Wine & Food Festival. In 2024, Cowy Burger opened its first brick-and-mortar in Wynwood. Now Cowy is opening in Doral — a city that once hosted its pop-ups.

The restaurant offers a concise menu of burgers including the signature “Cowy Burger”, an Angus beef smash patty topped with American cheese, bacon jam, grilled onions, and “Secret Cowy Sauce”. The restaurant also offers a chicken sandwich, waffle fries, and shakes.
