Another outpost of a popular all-day café is headed to Boston.
Daily Provisions is preparing to open a new location at 501 Boylston St in the city’s Back Bay, reports Boston Restaurant Talk. Once it debuts, the café will mark the brand’s third location in the Greater Boston area, joining an existing outpost in Cambridge’s Harvard Square and another that is expected to open soon in the Seaport District.
Born in 2017 from the kitchen of Danny Meyer’s Union Square Cafe in New York City, Daily Provisions operates a “growing collection of all-day neighborhood cafés with restaurant roots.” Open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., the eatery is known for its familiar yet elevated menu, featuring signature crullers, runny-yolk breakfast sandwiches, and freshly brewed coffee and teas.
The menu shifts throughout the day, moving from grab-and-go breakfast fare into chef-driven salads, sandwiches, seasonal sides, and hearty dinner plates, including the brand’s beloved Roast Chicken.
The expanding café concept currently operates eight locations across New York, as well as restaurants in New Jersey and Washington, D.C.
Notably, Daily Provisions is part of Union Square Hospitality Group, the same company behind acclaimed restaurants such as the aforementioned Union Square Cafe, Gramercy Tavern, The Modern, and Ci Siamo, the latter of which is also slated to open in the Seaport soon.
A representative for Daily Provisions told What Now Boston that the upcoming Back Bay location is on track to debut in the fall of 2026. More details are expected to be released in the coming months.
