Founded in San Diego, Better Buzz Coffee’s small batch coffee is growing in popularity, and the cafe chain is now expanding as far east as the East Coast states. According to coverage by the Tampa Bay Business Journal, the coffee roaster is planning to make its Florida debut in Pasco County.
Florida’s first Better Buzz Coffee will open in the building that was formerly home to Aussie Grill, at 3290 Word Way, near the Village at Mitchell Ranch. (The location is described as serving the Wesley Chapel market, although the address of the location is in New Port Richey.)
With more than 42 locations, principally in California, Better Buzz Coffee offers a menu catered to each location. “From fresh brewed small batch coffees and handcrafted lattes, to breakfast sandwiches and acai bowls, we craft every item with care and intention,” says the Better Buzz website.
Better Buzz’s food offerings have ranged from Toasts like 3-Seed Avocado to Sandwiches and Wraps like the Better Breakfast (cage-free egg, Havarti, bacon, arugula, garlic aioli on a toasted brioche bun), to pastries, acai bowls, and more.
On the coffee side, you’ll find beverages like the Best Drink Ever (classic Americano + signature creamy vanilla), the Horchata Iced Latte, and the Killer Bee (coffee + espresso).
Opening in the Word Way location, Better Buzz Coffee will join a food and drink community that includes restaurants like Chipotle, Menchies, Panda Express, Blaze Pizza, First Watch, and more.
“Better Buzz Coffee Company® is committed to providing consistent quality coffee beverages in a FUN atmosphere, with efficient & friendly customer service,” says the brand’s website. “We are dedicated to the freshest possible coffee by roasting and delivering coffee weekly to our stores and customers… We hope you share our passion for coffee and join us for a cup. Because LIFE’S BETTER BUZZED®”
