Local bakery Dough in the Box Donuts has a new location on the way. It plans to open a spot at 237 Mitchell St., according to a recent permit filing.
Dough in the Box is owned by husband-and-wife team Jesus and Dannia Balestena. The team currently operates three locations: Marietta, Downtown Austell and an Atlanta location along Fulton Industrial Boulevard. Dannia confirmed in a message to What Now Atlanta that the new location will be the fourth for the brand.
The spot on Mitchell Street will serve as a grab-and-go style express store, serving coffee, doughnuts and other goods such as croissants and bagels. The brand offers 45 types of doughnuts.
It is unclear precisely when the new location will open.
