Mikaelas Taste of Asia is set to make its brick-and-mortar debut this year. The beloved Sin City food truck, which serves Pan-Asian modern street food, is expected to open at Container Park, according to a City of Las Vegas permit. The new storefront will open at 707 Fremont St, Suite 1050, in Downtown Las Vegas.
Construction on the new space is already underway, according to a post on the brand’s Instagram page. If all goes well with construction and permitting, Mikaelas should be open before summer kicks off.
Mikaela’s was launched as a family-run food truck in 2023. Specializing in a diverse blend of Filipino, Korean, and Japanese flavors, the concept emerged from a desire to bring a “heartwarming” and authentic, family-run, multi-cultural Asian food experience to the streets of Las Vegas.
And who doesn’t love a good comeback story! The new venture marks a comeback for the owners, who previously operated a brick-and-mortar establishment in the early 2000s.
“By cultivating a variety of cultures, we are able to provide you the versatility of different flavors all in the palm of your hand,” The Mikaelas Taste of Asia website reads.
“Specially curated and handcrafted in our homely food truck. We wish to provide you with the best experience, not only food-wise but experience-wise.”
