Ted’s Hot Dogs Expands Presence in the Phoenix Metro Area

The family-owned restaurant chain, Ted’s Hot Dogs’ continues its Arizona expansion with a new location at 2700 E. Germann Rd. in Chandler.
Founded in Buffalo, New York, in 1927, the fourth-generation restaurant chain has been serving a range of signature dishes. These include charcoal-grilled hot dogs, burgers, onion rings, sausages, and milkshakes. The fast casual chain is also known for its open-fire cooking tradition.
The new Phoenix-area location features a retro-inspired design modeled after the chain’s original Buffalo stand. In addition, the outlet features modern elements, including a spacious outdoor patio seating area, indoor gathering spaces, and a walk-up ice cream window. The Chandler restaurant will also introduce the brand’s first drive-thru.
Two-Day Festivities at the Chandler Location
Ted’s Hot Dogs’ opening celebration will present a series of community-focused events at its latest outlet.
The public grand opening at the Chandler location will kick off on Saturday, May 23. Guests can expect giveaways throughout the grand opening event. The first customer will be given a Ted’s Golden Keychain, which includes lifetime buy-one-get-one-free hot dogs.
Customers will have five additional chances to win the keychain through an event that will run from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Apart from this, the first 20 customers will be given a free Ted’s Hot Dogs T‑shirt. In addition, the first 100 patrons will receive a free hot dog. The walk-up window will offer free ice cream to guests all day, while supplies last.
The grand opening festivities will continue on Sunday, May 24. The first 50 guests at the outlet who wear Buffalo gear will be given a free hot dog.
The weekend celebration will conclude with a themed tribute to the chain’s original Buffalo stand. The opening marks another milestone for the brand, which has operated in Arizona for 45 years and is approaching its 100th anniversary.
Founded by Greek immigrant Theodore Spiro Liaros, the chain now operates 11 locations across Arizona and Western New York. The company also operates a food truck.
As Ted’s Hot Dogs prepares to welcome customers to its Chandler location, the opening weekend will celebrate more than just a restaurant launch. It will highlight the restaurant chain’s decades of culinary legacy, Buffalo heritage, and consistent Arizona expansion.
