CAVA continues to expand its footprint across the country. The brand is known for its customizable Mediterranean-inspired bowls, pitas, and dips. The opening marks another step in the company’s Pennsylvania expansion as demand grows for customizable fast-casual dining options.
CAVA Opens in Downingtown

CAVA is opening a new restaurant today, May 22, at 1090 E. Lancaster Avenue in Downingtown. Guests can enjoy meals at the new outpost from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
The Downingtown restaurant will serve the brand’s signature customizable bowls and pitas, along with dips, dressings, and Mediterranean-inspired proteins.
CAVA has continued its rapid national expansion in recent quarters. In its latest quarterly report, CAVA Group said it plans to open between 75 and 77 new restaurants during fiscal 2026.
The brand operates on the mission of bringing good health and food to the community. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to be in Downingtown and continue growing our presence in the Greater Philadelphia area,” said Ron Shuler, Regional Director.
CAVA’s Philanthropic Efforts

In addition to its expansion efforts, CAVA continues to emphasize local community partnerships tied to new store openings.
Ahead of opening, CAVA invites diners to a free meal and accepts donations. The brand then matches those donations up to $1,000. CAVA’s Downingtown event is raising funds for Meals on Wheels-Chester County. Locals can also explore job opportunities at the new restaurant.
A new opening is a sign of the brand’s ongoing success, as consumers demand more personalized, health-focused fast-casual dining options.
