Recently previewed at the Taste of Tribeca, Ludico is an Italian restaurant being planned in the neighborhood at 333 Greenwich St. The new concept comes from Tribeca Hospitality Group, which is owned by the international Beefbar group. As reported previously by What Now New York, the Tribeca Hospitality Group had planned to open a location of the Italy-based restaurant Paper Moon Giardino, but those plans fell through. According to Tribeca Citizen, the group pivoted to the Ludico concept and brought in head chef Nelson Gonzalez, an international chef with a Michelin Star pedigree. The official Ludico Instagram profile has an opening date scheduled for this fall, and What Now New York has reached out for more information.

Videos of the Taste of Tribeca posted to the Ludico Instagram show the staff serving fresh salads and grilling meats. Another Ludico Instagram post says the restaurant will aim to be a “cornerstone of the neighborhood.”
