With locations in Palm Bay, Merritt Island, and Satellite Beach, Henry’s Cuban Cafe offers “three generations of Cuban tradition—crafted daily with love, sabor, and zero shortcuts.” The Cuban restaurant’s website is currently teasing a “NEW SECRET LOCATION,” and recently submitted plan review documents may finally cast light on where that new location is opening.
The paperwork, submitted by Valdes Kitchen Inc., shows a restaurant called “Henry’s Cuban Cafe #5” opening in Melbourne, at 5600 N Harbor City Blvd., Unit 4.
There, guests would be able to enjoy the Henry’s Cuban Cafe menu, which includes classics like the Pastelito Cubano (Flaky pastry filled with guava & cream cheese), Ropa Vieja (Slow-braised shredded beef in a rich sofrito sauce), and the Lechón Asado Plate (Slow-roasted Cuban pork with rice, black beans & plantains).
What Now reached out on Thursday to owner Henry Valdes to ask about plans for a new Henry’s Cuban Cafe in Melbourne. Valdes was not immediately available for comment.
Opening in the North Harbor City Boulevard location, Henry’s appears to be joining the gas station at that address. Given that the paperwork refers to this location as “Henry’s Cuban Cafe #5,” it’s possible that this is, in fact, an additional opening, and not the one referred to as the “new secret location.” Time will tell!
Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
