For anyone who believes a cup of matcha can be more than just a caffeine fix, Matcha Magic has another stop on the map.

The Seattle-area café brand is preparing to open a new location at The Yard, the retail centerpiece of Woodinville’s Harvest mixed-use development, according to a recent report from the Puget Sound Business Journal

The upcoming café is expected to be among the nearly two dozen businesses slated to debut this summer at The Yard, a nearly 100,000-square-foot retail district that serves as the commercial anchor of the $700 million Harvest development.

The project is designed to bring together restaurants, retailers, tasting rooms, and community gathering spaces in the heart of Woodinville’s wine country.

Founded in Bellevue, Matcha Magic has steadily expanded across the Seattle region and beyond.

The company currently operates locations in Bellevue, New Orleans, Redmond, Capitol Hill, South Lake Union, and Tempe, building a following around creative matcha drinks, smoothie bowls, specialty toasts, and a wellness-oriented menu.

The concept was created by Rachel Barnecut and operates under Conscious Hospitality Group, led by her husband, Norman Wu

Guests can choose from traditional ceremonial matcha prepared with water or explore a lineup of colorful signature drinks such as the Strawberry Matcha Latte, Matcha Horchata, Matcha Colada, Toasted MatchaMallow Latte, and Purple Rain, a combination of lavender, ube, milk, and matcha sweet cream.

An opening date for the Woodinville location has not yet been announced
