Nobu is preparing to bring its first Pacific Northwest restaurant to Avenue Bellevue at 889 Ave Sq NE in Bellevue, according to Puget Sound Business Journal and a recent company announcement.
The planned restaurant will occupy approximately 10,000 square feet within the mixed-use project and is anticipated to open in 2027, joining the newly announced Nobu Residences Bellevue concept.
Owned by Silverstein Properties, Avenue Bellevue occupies a full downtown city block with residential towers, retail and hospitality space.
The project is now being repositioned under the Nobu brand, marking the first completed and move-in ready Nobu-branded residential development in the United States.
Founded by chef Nobu Matsuhisa alongside Robert De Niro and Meir Teper, Nobu has evolved from a celebrated restaurant into a global luxury hospitality brand with restaurants, hotels and residences across multiple continents.
The restaurant will bring Nobu’s signature cuisine to the Eastside, featuring traditional Japanese technique alongside Peruvian and South American influences.
Across its global locations, the brand is known for dishes such as black miso cod, yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño and a variety of seafood-forward offerings presented within refined, minimalist interiors.
What Now Seattle reached out regarding the Bellevue restaurant plans and will share additional details as they become available.
