Seattle shoppers may soon have another Trader Joe’s nearby. The grocery chain has listed a new store at 401 NE Northgate Way as “coming soon” on its website, signaling another addition to its growing Seattle-area presence.
While the company has not announced an opening date, the future location appears on Trader Joe’s official store directory alongside other upcoming projects across the country.
Founded by Joseph Coulombe in 1967, Trader Joe’s has built a loyal following through its private-label products, fresh produce, specialty grocery offerings, flowers, and rotating seasonal items.
The Northgate store will join nine existing Trader Joe’s locations in the Seattle area. Shoppers can currently find stores in Capitol Hill, Queen Anne, West Seattle, the University District, Ballard, Greenwood, Bellevue, and Burien.
The Northgate location is part of a broader expansion effort by Trader Joe’s. The company has announced dozens of new stores across the country, including upcoming locations in Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Ohio, Utah, and Washington.
Additional details, including an opening timeline and store features, have not yet been announced. What Now Seattle reached out to Trader Joe’s, and this article may be updated as more information becomes available.
