With locations in Kissimmee and Riverview, Frutella is a restaurant “hecho con amor.” Now it appears to be bringing the love to a third location.
Plan review documents submitted by Frutella Orlando LLC show a new Frutella opening at 1333 Florida Mall Ave, in the space formerly occupied by Could 07 Smoke Shop.
Frutella serves up favorites like Pandebono Cake and Pandebono Waffles (pandebono being a traditional Colombian cheese bread, for those unfamiliar), pasteles de guayaba, arepas, and more.
Opening in the Florida Mall Avenue location, Frutella would join a community of restaurants that includes El Cilantrillo Restaurant, Simon Parrilla Bar and Grill, Chili’s Grill & Bar, and the Licking.
What Now reached out on Friday to co-owner Nathalie Alvarez to ask about plans for Frutella Orlando’s opening. Alvarez was not immediately available for comment.
