alonetogether marks the return of Chef Jonny Rhodes to the restaurant scene and his debut in Atlanta. The Midtown restaurant (1270 W Peachtree St NW), which opened June 3rd, is an upscale brasserie and non-alcoholic beverage bar rooted in Haitian French Creole cooking alongside the influences of Thai flavors.

After closing his celebrated Houston restaurant Indigo and grocery concept Broham Fine Soulfood & Groceries in 2021, Jonny embarked on a five-year journey across Southeast Asia, West Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Caribbean–connecting with Indigenous communities, witnessing religious ceremonies and agricultural traditions, all the while absorbing the depths of cooking at its simplistic roots. alonetogether is the living expression of everything he found; deeply personal and historically resonant. The name itself is intentionally layered: it speaks to communion and contrast, to intimacy and struggle, to the quiet truth that no one moves through this world alone.

Menu highlights include a seafood platter inspired by his time on Gonâve Island off the coast of Haiti, layering fresh oysters, chilled lobster, and poached shrimp with classical French techniques; Clara’s Kalalou Soup, a tribute to his mother and to the matriarchs of Jacmel; and making an appearance on the charcuterie board is a Black Angus Summer Sausage, dry-aged for 28 days from Jonny’s family’s cattle ranch, Prince Beef. Anchoring the entrées is a 32-day Dry-Aged Prime Ribeye Au Poivre, a nod to the great French steakhouses, served large-format and designed for sharing. Diners keen on dessert should save room for a unique Beefy Bone Marrow Ice Cream, softly served on the bone with Niepoort stewed cherries, thyme and sea salt.

Equally intentional is alonetogether’s non-alcoholic beverage program, a category Chef crafted with the same level of precision, intentionality, and care often associated with restorative traditions, with each ingredient selected for its flavor and wellness function. Each beverage begins in a centrifuge, where ingredients are carefully clarified and concentrated, revealing deeper flavors, cleaner textures and unexpected expressions of familiar ingredients. Expect seasonal renditions, as well as mainstays like Date Juice Limeade; Passionfruit & Blood Orange Elixir with Soursop; Ginger & Sorrel Cooler; Grilled Pineapple, Lemongrass & Galangal Tepache; and Tamarind & Toasted Peanut Soda.

A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Chef Jonny Rhodes trained at the Art Institute of Houston, as well as earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston-Downtown. He has honed his skills in the country’s most acclaimed kitchens — including NYC’s Gramercy Tavern, as well as Houston’s Oxheart. His pop-up The Jensen Chronicles, named after his childhood neighborhood, evolved into what became his revered restaurant Indigo — a 13-seat neo-soul fine dining experience in Houston’s Greater Fifth Ward that earned a James Beard Foundation Rising Star Chef semifinalist nomination in 2019 and landed on best-of lists from Food & Wine, GQ, Eater, and Texas Monthly, as well as TIME’s World’s 100 Greatest Places. Broham Fine Soulfood & Groceries–along with the six-acre farm, Food Fight Farms–was the natural evolution and growth Chef Jonny sought, with the hopes to address the food apartheid and agricultural equity in nearby communities.

alonetogether is located at 1270 W Peachtree St NW, Atlanta, GA on the ground floor of the Arts Center Tower (parking is available). Hours of operation for dinner service are Wednesday through Sunday 5PM – 11PM; lunch service to be announced later this Summer.
