A new burger spot is bringing flavor and transparency to Hodges Plaza. Opening at 13799 Beach Blvd in Jacksonville, Muscle Burger will serve up 100% organic, grass-fed burgers, fresh-squeezed lemonade and juices, and air-fried (not deep-fried) French Fries.
“Our burgers are marinated overnight in pinot noir and spices that give the burger a steak-like texture and flavor,” owner Manuel Aguilar told What Now on Tuesday. “A lot of the time, burgers pretty much taste the same. And I think, when you’re paying for a burger, the burger should be the star, not the toppings.”
Working to make the patty the star, Muscle Burger promises a streamlined product with clearly defined ingredients (and no mystery). It is, as its Facebook page puts it, “Jacksonville’s only flavor first 100% fully transparent burger restaurant. Welcome to a new way of burgering.”
Aguilar says the menu itself is staying under wraps until Muscle Burger opens—which it hopes to do before the end of this month. Alongside burgers, you can expect to find lemonade and other juices fresh-squeezed in-house, along with fries made in an air-frier, skipping those heavy oils.
