Big things are on the horizon for a Northern Virginia furniture company. Belfort Furniture has received a special-use permit for a new warehouse, distribution center and outlet store in Berryville, reports Winchester Star.

Belfort is presently renovating its new home at 351 Station Road to facilitate the trio of new uses. The sprawling building will provide the furniture company with 260,000 square feet.

During a Berryville Town Council meeting held earlier this month, Belfort President Matt Huber established a basic breakdown for how the space will be used. He stated that the vast majority-95 percent-of the facility will be dedicated to warehousing and distribution, while 5,000 square feet of the building will be used as a clearance retail center.

An opening timeline isn’t presently available for Belfort Furniture’s Berryville home. However the approval of the special use permit paired with the fact that construction is occurring bodes well. The company is also actively recruiting staff for the new location, another positive indicator.

Belfort Furniture is a local institution, voted the #1 furniture store in Northern Virginia. A new location is certain to inspire enthusiasm in residents.
