Burger Stand Closes Amid I-35 Expansion
In the post, the owner explained, “Due to TxDOT’s I-35 expansion project, our Capital Plaza location will close on Sunday, June 28.”
The I-35 Capital Express Project is an ongoing massive highway expansion project throughout the Austin metro area. The Texas Department of Transportation’s (TxDOT) redevelopment plan is aimed at easing the traffic challenges.
As the Capital Plaza location is closing, P. Terry’s team added, “If you’re looking for a stand near Capital Plaza, please visit our Koenig or Tech Ridge locations.”
With the closure of P. Terry’s flagship location, the Austin dining scene is losing a notable spot.
