Motor Vault is preparing to bring its luxury garage condominium concept to Peoria with a new development planned near Lake Pleasant Parkway and Pinnacle Peak Road.
Founder and CEO Vern Haugen confirmed the development to What Now Phoenix, describing the location as an ideal fit for the company’s growing portfolio of enthusiast-focused garage communities.
“There’s a lot of toy and recreational vehicle users there, a lot of recreational vehicle garages on homes, great demographics, great people. It’s just an ideal location for our garage condo project.”
While construction timelines remain subject to change, the CEO said the company is currently targeting an opening around October 2027.
Motor Vault Peoria will include approximately 78,000 square feet of development featuring 56 individually owned garage suites.
Units will include air conditioning, water, sewer, and electrical service in every unit. Some suites will also feature mezzanines.
The development is designed as both a storage solution and a gathering place, where owners can work on projects, showcase their collections, host friends, and participate in a calendar of member events, barbecues, drives, and social gatherings.
“Motor Vault is more of a man cave. People buy them and fit them out with mezzanines and different things to create a hangout space and a place to store their toys, but also work on them.”
Owners can customize their spaces to store collector cars, recreational vehicles, boats, off-road vehicles, motorcycles, and other recreational equipment. The company also promotes the garages as personal retreats, workshops, showrooms, and gathering spaces.
A luxury clubhouse, car wash bay, gated access, security features, and common areas are planned as part of the Peoria project. The development will also continue Motor Vault’s community-focused approach, which includes regular social events for owners.
“Motor Vault is a very social-oriented development. We do different parties pretty much every month. We have barbecues, we go on drives, we have block parties where everybody opens up their garages for the members and their friends.”
Motor Vault currently operates communities in Deer Valley and Fountain Hills and has additional projects planned in Queen Creek and Surprise.
The Peoria location will mark the company’s first West Valley community. The site sits near Lake Pleasant Parkway and offers access to destinations including Lake Pleasant, Arizona Motorsports Park, Phoenix Raceway, and Apex Motor Club.
