Known for its contemporary take on California modernism, Lawson-Fenning is preparing to open a location in San Francisco, according to an announcement published on the brand’s social media accounts. Although the exact address and an opening timeline have not been disclosed, the new showroom is set for Jackson Square.

Founded by Glenn Lawson and Grant Fenning, the company has built a reputation for handcrafted furnishings, lighting, rugs, and accessories that blend mid-century influences with timeless design. Much of its collection is made in California, with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship and natural materials.

This year, the brand is celebrating its 25th anniversary. What began as a shared passion for design between two college friends has evolved into a nationally recognized brand built on meaningful collaborations and enduring relationships. Over the past quarter-century, the duo has grown the company while maintaining a commitment to craftsmanship and a distinctly California aesthetic, using the milestone to reflect on the people and experiences that have shaped the business.

Lawson-Fenning currently operates showrooms in Los Angeles and New York, along with a manufacturing facility in Southern California. Through its collection of furniture and accessories, the company aims to create pieces that embody relaxed, livable sophistication while celebrating American craftsmanship.
