Cleveland Mini Mart is preparing to open at 3401 Cleveland Avenue, Suite 1, in Santa Rosa, according to a recent alcohol license application seeking approval for beer and wine sales. Owner Shiva Subedi told WhatNow that the convenience store is targeting a late July opening, although the timeline will depend on the approval process for its alcohol license. The business will occupy the former Nong’s Market space, which has recently closed.
Shiva brings prior experience in retail operations, having previously owned and sold a business before moving forward with this new venture. That background now informs the development of Cleveland Mini Mart, which will include beer and wine sales as part of its convenience store model, reflecting a continued focus on small-scale retail and neighborhood service.
According to the owner, the location will focus on a more sophisticated edge for beer and wine sales, alongside everyday convenience store items. While the concept is relatively straightforward, the owner brings previous business experience to the venture, having owned and later sold another operation before pursuing this new project.
