Pacific Pearl Cafe is slated to open a new outpost at 19800 MacArthur Boulevard, Suite C10, in Irvine, according to a recent California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control license filing.
Founded by Chef Michael Campbell, Pacific Pearl Cafe brings refined culinary artistry to a quick-service atmosphere for breakfast, lunch, coffee, and baked goods. The concept currently operates locations in San Juan Capistrano and Costa Mesa, with the Irvine restaurant marking a significant expansion in its Orange County growth.
Campbell brings more than two decades of culinary experience to the concept, having worked in renowned kitchens across Portland, Barcelona, New York, San Francisco, and Orange County. His résumé includes leadership roles with the Michael Mina Group and Montage Hotels.
Pacific Pearl Cafe emphasizes thoughtfully sourced ingredients and a menu free from seed oils. Guests can expect breakfast and lunch offerings such as breakfast burritos, avocado toast, sandwiches, salads, wraps, specialty coffee drinks, matcha beverages, and an extensive selection of pastries. Popular menu items at existing locations include the Local Yellowtail Tuna Melt, Winner’s Club Croissant, and baked goods.
The restaurant describes its mission as creating food that is both approachable and nourishing, combining clean ingredients with bold flavors in a casual café setting. Catering services and private event offerings are also part of the brand’s portfolio.
