French’s Pastry Bakery Closing
French’s Pastry Bakery has announced closing of its store located at 2064 N Tustin Street on June 26. The bakery has been operating in the neighborhood for 21 years.
The bakery shared the news in a social media post. The post said the closure was due to ‘unavoidable circumstances’ but did not provide additional details. The original Costa Mesa location will remain open after the Orange location’s closure.
French’s Pastry Bakery is known for its signature Wagon Wheel pastry. This is a 12-inch circular Danish-style pastry topped with fruit and cream cheese. The bakery also offers breads, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods made on-site. This is the third French’s Pastry Bakery location to close in three years.
