Burger fans from Temecula can expect a Shake Shack unit for the first time. According to a recent announcement shared by the City of Temecula, the new restaurant will take over the former Union Bank building, on 26407 Ynez Rd, though an opening date has not yet been announced.
The new outpost will serve the brand’s signature 100% Angus beef burgers, crinkle-cut fries, specialty shakes, and made-to-order menu items prepared with fresh ingredients.
The New York City Madison Square Park burger shop was founded in 2004 and has grown into a global brand with hundreds of locations across the United States and abroad. The chain has built a devoted following around menu staples such as the ShackBurger, Chicken Shack sandwich, frozen custard, and hand-spun shakes.
The Temecula location will occupy the former Union Bank site on Ynez Road, repurposing the freestanding building into what will become the region’s first Shake Shack. While plans remain under review, a timeline has yet to be revealed.
