Chubby Social and Chubby Cove, two new hospitality concepts from Chubby Group, are getting ready to open at Topanga Social at Westfield Topanga in Woodland Hills at 6600 Topanga Canyon Boulevard.

The concepts are part of the next phase of openings at Topanga Social, according to a press release. The rollout is expected to take place throughout Summer 2026, though an exact opening date has not been announced. The new additions will join a lineup of food and beverage concepts designed to expand the destination’s dining and entertainment offerings, with customers expected to see a mix of globally inspired dishes and beverage-focused programming.

Chubby Group’s participation in the project was highlighted in the same announcement, with corporate beverage director Octavio Luna noting the company’s focus on creating hospitality-driven concepts that blend food, entertainment, and experience. He said the partnership aligns with a broader shift toward destinations that combine multiple elements of dining and social interaction under one roof.

Topanga Social is undergoing a broader expansion that includes new restaurants, bars, and entertainment spaces. The redevelopment introduces several new tenants, including Umari Hand Roll Bar, Cilantro Lime, Pompadour Café, Ozzy’s Apizza, Kabob Social, and additional concepts that are expected to open in phases. The project also incorporates entertainment offerings such as mini golf, escape rooms, and interactive attractions.

Chubby Social and Chubby Cove are expected to contribute to the evolving mix of culinary- and beverage-focused experiences within the space. While limited details have been released, the concepts are being developed as part of a larger hospitality strategy that emphasizes social dining environments and curated beverage programs.

Chubby Group continues to expand its presence in the Los Angeles hospitality scene through a portfolio of food-and-beverage concepts focused on modern dining formats. This will be an excellent landing space for the group as Topanga Social continues its transformation into a multi-experience destination that blends dining, entertainment, and community programming in one location.
