A well-known Oroville bar address is changing hands again. PJ’s Pub is set to open at 6093 Lincoln Blvd in Oroville, according to a liquor licence application filed with the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. The business is owned by Jennifer Renee Oliver and Patricia Sue Rogers, with a temporary permit already issued, allowing the new owners to begin operating while the permanent license is finalized.

The address has a long history as a neighborhood bar. Most recently known as The GYM Saloon, the space has also operated under names like Seeva’s and Bootlegger over the years, drawing in regulars with pool tables, live music, and the kind of no-frills, small-town bar atmosphere that keeps people coming back.

Oroville, a city of roughly 19,000 residents in Butte County, sits along the Feather River about 70 miles north of Sacramento. The community has a tight bar and nightlife scene, and a steady stream of new operators has kept addresses like this one in near-continuous use over the years.
