BoxLunch is celebrating the grand opening of its newest Southern California store this weekend. The retailer is hosting a two-day grand opening celebration at The Shoppes at Carlsbad. The July 4-5 event will feature giveaways, games, and activities for fans of pop culture.

The new BoxLunch store is opening at The Shoppes at Carlsbad, 2525 El Camino Real. The store and opening activities are designed for fans of movies, television, anime, gaming, Disney, and other pop culture franchises.
BoxLunch, a national specialty retailer, is headquartered in California with over 280 stores nationwide. The stores feature an exclusive selection of official licensed fashion, accessories, collectibles, home decor, gifts, lounge, and lifestyle items.
BoxLunch also offers limited-edition collections and exclusive collaborations available through its stores.
The company is also known for its philanthropy initiatives. For many years, it has partnered with Feeding America® to contribute meal donations to local food banks nationwide. The retailer also collaborates with Feeding San Diego in the San Diego area to reach local families experiencing food insecurity.
Opening Day Events
Grand opening festivities are scheduled for July 4 and 5 from noon to 3 p.m. each day. Over the weekend, visitors will have the opportunity to play games, win prizes, get themed photo opportunities, and enjoy live DJ sets.
Guests planning to attend are encouraged to arrive before the 11 a.m. store opening. The first 50 customers in line each day will receive complimentary BoxLunch gift cards ranging in value from $10 to $100, while supplies last.
