The team behind several Quincy dining destinations is expanding its footprint once again, this time with a brand-new café concept attached to its neighborhood staple.
Dotty’s Kitchen & Raw Bar has announced plans to launch an on-site coffee shop called Daybreak Coffee & Provisions, set to open at 1250 Hancock Street in Quincy. The café will serve specialty coffee drinks, including espresso, lattes, cortados, matcha, and more, although an official menu and opening date have not yet been announced.
“We’re excited to announce the upcoming addition of a new coffee shop to our beloved restaurant,” the team shared. “Get ready to indulge in a delightful array of premium coffee beverages, including espresso, lattes, cortados, matcha, and more!”
Founded by seasoned hospitality trio Devin Adams, David Peters, and Palmer Matthews, Dotty’s replaced their previous concept, The Townshend, with a relaxed neighborhood focus and a raw bar program. The group also operates nearby Pearl & Lime, alongside a growing portfolio of local hospitality concepts.
The owners are currently hiring baristas and aspiring coffee professionals for the upcoming café:
“Are you passionate or eager to learn about coffee? Seeking a new and inspiring place to showcase your skills? We are actively hiring and can’t wait to welcome you to our team,” they wrote. “Our convenient location offers easy access to the red line, just a short walk away from the Quincy Center T stop… More details to come, give us a follow and stay tuned!☕️☕️☕️””
What Now Boston has reached out to the team for additional details on Daybreak by Dotty’s and will share updates as they become available.
