Goodbyes are always bitter-sweet, but a new hello can soften the blow. This is the case for the Short Pump space that used to house Frostings Bake Shop. Though the storefront will no longer offer sweet treats, it will soon be serving up memorable savory options at Lindsey’s Sandwich Shop, reports Richmond Biz Sense.

Both the outgoing and incoming concepts come from Lindsey Food Group. This new endeavor will find founders and partners in life and business Mike Lindsey and Kim Love-Lindsey crafting a range of sandwiches in the 4336 Pouncey Tract Road storefront.

Mike Lindsey states that an opening timeline for Lindsey’s Sandwich Shop remains nebulous, however he does offer some peaks at what’s in store that are certain to inspire excitement in locals. The deli will be serving lunch and dinner, and the menu will feature subs, hoagies, focaccia sandwiches, and paninis. Lindsey states that the establishment may eventually include breakfast options, complete with breakfast sandwiches.
