Recent news regarding a pending Inner Harbor newcomer is certain to have made area meat lovers’ mouths water. Denver-based STK Steakhouse will be taking over a Pratt Street storefront, breathing new life into the vacant restaurant space, reports the Baltimore Business Journal.
STK will be returning dining to 1 E. Pratt Street for the first time since Kona Grill ceased operations last winter. The two concepts share certain characteristics that may help to ease the transition; both are steakhouses and-perhaps most importantly-both are owned by The One Group.
A definitive opening timeline is not yet available for STK’s Inner Harbor location, however submitted city permits state that the restaurant hopes to have signage installed before the end of 2026, suggesting the eatery may be customer ready by early 2027.
STK will bring Maryland diners a unique approach to the familiar steakhouse experience. The website explains: “STK is a unique concept that artfully blends the modern steakhouse and a chic lounge into one, offering a dynamic, fine dining experience with the superior quality of a traditional steakhouse.”
