Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, a fast-growing dessert concept known for its signature Jelati, is opening its doors in Flower Mound.
According to public filings, the brand plans to open at 2201 Justin Road, Suite 303, within The Highlands development, with a targeted completion date of October 2026.
What Now Dallas spoke with franchisee Drew Speraw, who said an opening is still possible this year, though the construction timeline is still being finalized.
For Speraw, the decision to bring Jeremiah’s to North Texas is personal. The brand’s corporate offices are based in Orlando, where he grew up. “It’s been a staple of our experience as kids and even now for my kids,” he told What Now Dallas. “I was intrigued by the franchise and wanted to explore what that could look like in our area, and I felt like it was a good opportunity to start a family-run business in Flower Mound.”
The Justin Road location was chosen for its visibility and proximity to schools, families, and a busy intersection. “Being connected to young families and up-and-coming school districts has been important to their brand,” Speraw said. He added that Jeremiah’s is expanding aggressively across the DFW and Texas market, and he hopes to find additional locations that fit the brand’s profile.
Jeremiah’s Italian Ice offers premium soft-serve ice cream alongside in-house-made Italian ice, with its signature product being the gelati, a combination of both. “Once people try it, they fall in love,” Speraw told What Now Dallas. “We’re excited to serve the community and really be a part of Flower Mound, school districts, athletic events, churches, all the things surrounding it.”
Founded in Orlando in 1996, Jeremiah’s Italian Ice has grown to more than 170 locations across the United States, with Texas among its fastest-growing markets, according to the brand’s website.
