7 Brew Coffee, one of the fastest-growing drive-thru coffee chains in the country, plans to open in Waco. According to public filings, the brand could open at 736 Hewitt Drive, with a completion date targeted for November 2026.

What Now Dallas reached out to 7Crew Enterprises, the Lubbock-based franchisee behind the filing and and also the second-largest 7 Brew operator in the country, but did not receive a response prior to publication.

7 Brew is a drive-thru-only coffee stand where guests come directly to the customer’s car window to take orders and deliver drinks in roughly three minutes. The menu offers espresso drinks, cold brew, energy drinks, Italian sodas, smoothies, chai, matcha, and seasonal specials, with over 20,000 possible flavor combinations, all fully customizable by milk type, sweetness level, and flavor shots.

Founded in Rogers, Arkansas in 2017, 7 Brew has expanded, growing from 14 locations to over 700 stands across 38 states, with Texas leading all markets, according to QSR Magazine.

According to a company press release, in 2025, 7 Crew Enterprises secured a majority investment from Franchise Equity Partners to accelerate its development of more than 200 new stands across Texas, Florida, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.

The location would mark 7 Brew’s entry into McLennan County, bringing its high-energy drive-thru model to a market anchored by Baylor University and a growing residential base.

Waco has increasingly become a destination for national brands looking to expand beyond Texas’ major metros. What Now Dallas has previously covered the city’s growing commercial appeal, including Wonder’s planned multi-restaurant food hall at Tinsley Square, signaling a broader wave of investment in the Brazos Valley market.
