Wonder, the fast-casual food hall concept backed by entrepreneur Marc Lore, plans to expand to Waco. This move could mark what could be one of the brand’s first moves into Central Texas beyond the major metro areas.

According to public filings, the concept could open at 800 S. 7th St. within Tinsley Square, where a 3,262-square-foot renovation of an existing restaurant space is planned. Construction is targeted to begin in September 2026, with a completion date of November 2026. What Now Dallas reached out to Wonder representatives to know about an opening timeline, but did not get an answer prior to this publication.

Wonder allows diners to order from multiple restaurant concepts, including celebrity chef collaborations with Bobby Flay, Marcus Samuelsson, and José Andrés. Food is made to order, giving guests the flexibility to mix and match from different menus in one visit.

The Waco filing comes amid Wonder’s aggressive Texas expansion. In February 2026, the company announced plans to open more than 100 locations across Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio by the end of 2027, according to a company press release. What Now has previously covered the brand’s rapid expansion across the state, including locations in Fort Worth, Frisco, Schertz, and Austin.
