An award-winning sandwich chain is adding a fifth North Texas location near Stonebriar Centre. According to public filings, Snarf’s Sandwiches plans to open a new location at 3930 Preston Road, Suite 130, in Frisco.
Permitting records list a construction completion date of November 2026. However, public record timelines are not definitive and are subject to change.
Snarf’s is known for its oven-toasted sandwiches made on house-baked bread and topped with its proprietary blend of hot giardiniera peppers, alongside entrée-sized salads and rotating soups.
Founder Jimmy “Snarf” Seidel opened the first Snarf’s in Boulder, Colorado, in 1996, and the brand has since expanded to roughly two dozen locations in Colorado, along with a growing presence in Texas and Missouri. The Frisco opening is part of Snarf’s initial five-location push into North Texas, which What Now has tracked closely.
What Now Dallas first reported on the brand’s Lakewood Shopping Center location, where Director of Marketing Helen Wood said Dallas had “long been on our radar thanks to its energetic food culture and deep-rooted local pride.” Wood also told What Now Dallas that the brand tailors each location to its neighborhood, including custom mosaic tile art at every store entrance inspired by the surrounding community.
Snarf’s growth in Texas also extends well beyond Dallas-Fort Worth. What Now Austin has tracked the brand’s expansion into Central Texas, including its Burnet Road location, its William Cannon location while still in permitting, and the opening of its fourth Austin store, where founder Jimmy Seidel said the brand had “had our eyes on the south area of town for a while.”
