A new Wonder restaurant is planned for Schertz, according to recently filed documents with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The concept is slated for a 3,973-square-foot space at 18406 Station Road in Guadalupe County. Project filings indicate that the work will involve the renovation of an existing space to create a new Wonder restaurant.

Construction is expected to begin on July 17, 2026, with completion targeted for October 10, 2026. The project carries an estimated cost of $1 million and is privately funded by the tenant.

Project records list Schertz Station, LTD. as the property owner and Lauren Rodriguez as the tenant. HFA-AE, LTD., an Arkansas-based architecture and engineering firm, is serving as the design firm for the project. Amy Harshbarger is listed as the contact person on the filing.

Founded by entrepreneur Marc Lore, Wonder has gained attention for its technology-driven dining model that brings multiple restaurant concepts together under one roof. Guests can order dishes from a variety of menus in a single transaction, with offerings ranging from burgers and pizza to barbecue, salads, and international cuisine.

The company partners with well-known chefs and restaurant brands while emphasizing convenience through dine-in, pickup, and delivery options.

Wonder has been expanding its footprint in recent years as it works to grow its network of locations and food delivery services. The company operates a multi-brand restaurant platform that allows customers to mix and match items from different menus within the same order.

The upcoming Schertz location would bring the concept to one of the fastest-growing areas in the San Antonio metro, adding another dining option to the Station Road corridor.
