A new Jersey Mike’s Subs could be coming to the Marsh Lane corridor in Dallas. According to public filings, the sandwich chain could open at 10031 Marsh Lane, Suite 230, within the Hopkins Marsh Lane Plaza.
The brand is known for its fresh-sliced meats and cheeses, subs made to order on freshly baked bread, and its signature “Mike’s Way”, with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, oil, vinegar, and spices. The menu also spans hot and cold subs, wraps, and bowls.
What Now Dallas spoke to franchisee Mark Melendez, who said an opening is currently targeted for Q4 2026. Construction bids are still pending, and a more precise timeline is expected within the coming weeks.
Melendez, who has been a Jersey Mike’s fan since around 2009, said his passion for the brand drove his decision to become a franchisee. “We’ve always been passionate about the product. We love Jersey Mike’s as a brand and what they stand for,” he told What Now Dallas.
The choice of location was deliberate. “We chose the Marsh Lane location because it fills a clear gap in an underserved trade area, making it an ideal opportunity to better serve the surrounding community,” Melendez said. “The area is home to numerous schools, local businesses, and families, creating meaningful opportunities for us to build lasting relationships beyond simply serving great food.” He added that community involvement is central to his vision for the location, with plans to support local schools, partner with community organizations, and participate in fundraising initiatives.
The Marsh Lane location would join Melendez’s growing portfolio, he currently operates locations in McKinney and Allen. Founded in Point Pleasant, New Jersey in 1956, Jersey Mike’s has grown into one of the largest sub chains in the United States, with more than 3,000 locations nationwide.
