Popular barbecue food truck T-Bone’s Famous Smokin’ Bar-B-Que has made a name for itself on Central Florida’s west coast, and has even begun selling its barbecue sauce by the bottle.

“T-Bone’s Famous ‘Original’ Rib’Licious Bar-B-Que Sauce is now available at the Anna Maria General Store,” the brand posted on Facebook back in April. “Getcha some!!!”

Now, the food truck appears to be going brick-and-mortar. This week, What Now came across plan review paperwork submitted by T-Bone’s Famous, LLC for a T-Bone’s Famous Smokin’ Bar-B-Que restaurant project at 103 Gulf Drive N in Bradenton Beach.

The T-Bone’s website confirms it is “Coming Soon” at that address.

Launching near the water, T-Bone’s Famous would bring its barbecue flavor to a restaurant community that features brands like Bridge Street Bistro, Island Time Bar and Grill, Back Alley Treasures, and Daquiri Deck.

“The nick-name came from the band Agnostic Front during our tour together back in 1992,” says the T-Bone’s Famous website, telling the story of the brand’s origin. “Ever since then everyone has called me T-Bone. The passion for cookin’ began when I was a child in Jacksonville, Florida with my grandpa John Landregan, who was a cook in the U.S. Navy. He was always cookin’ up somethin’ good in the kitchen. Naturally, this gave me the desire to learn. After a few years in the kitchen, I turned to the great outdoors and started to bar-b-que. In Florida, we bar-b-que all year round from sun-up to sun-down. After perfectin’ the art of smokin’ ribs and pork shoulder, I decided that I need to come up with my own dippin’ sauces and dry rubs. In this bottle you will taste the passion for cookin’ that started with my papa John many years ago. I hope you enjoy T-Bone’s Famous “Original – Rib’Licious” Bar-B-Que Sauce. It’s ‘Mouthwaterin’ Delicious’.”

Owner Trevor Peres was not immediately available for comment on the Bradenton Beach plans on Wednesday.

You can keep up with all things T-Bone’s Famous by following the brand on Facebook.
