Fieldwork Brewing Co. is expanding into San Francisco’s Presidio, taking over the former Presidio Social Club space. According to the San Francisco Business Times, the Northern California brewery has signed a lease for the historic location following the restaurant’s closure earlier this year.

Founded in Berkeley in 2015, Fieldwork Brewing has a rotating selection of IPAs, lagers, stouts, and sour beers that has built a legion of fans, while expanding to multiple taprooms throughout Northern California.

The new Presidio location is expected to feature the company’s signature lineup of craft beers alongside a food program designed to complement the historic venue. The space offers expansive indoor dining and outdoor patio seating within one of San Francisco’s most visited national park destinations.

The former Presidio Social Club operated in the space for more than a decade before closing in early 2026.

An opening timeline for the new Fieldwork location has not yet been announced.

What Now San Francisco has reached out to Fieldwork Brewing Co. for additional information and will update this story as more details become available.
