Lateen Cafe is getting ready to debut at 1980 Driscoll Rd. in Fremont, taking over the space occupied previously by Yoshi En Skewer Hot Pot Market, according to activity shared by the business on social media. While the company has not yet formally announced all of the details, its recent Instagram bio indicates the café is in the works, promising to bring “The Taste of Dubai, In Every Sip” to the Bay Area.
The reference to the Middle Eastern city suggests Lateen Cafe may feature specialty coffee drinks, espresso beverages, teas, and café fare in a contemporary setting inspired by Dubai’s vibrant café culture. The concept may also offer the generous, king-size breakfasts and indulgent pastries that have become increasingly popular at cafés throughout Dubai, along with desserts and signature beverages reflecting the region’s flavors.
With interest in Middle Eastern-inspired coffeehouses continuing to grow across California, the upcoming Fremont location could introduce a distinctive dining experience to the local community.
Additional information about the new café, including its grand opening date, interior design, full menu, and hours of operation, has not yet been announced.
