Maryland book fans, grab your bookmarks and get ready to add to your “to-be-read” pile. Barnes & Noble is readying a new location in Lutherville Station next year, reports Baltimore Business Journal.
The beloved book seller is taking over a 130 W. Ridgely Road storefront. Barnes & Noble will be inheriting and revamping the 18,000 square foot space. The chain will be making updates to the store including an interior redesign and adding new roof and HVAC systems to the building.
A representative for the company previously articulated the brand’s enthusiasm for this new location, saying “We are so excited to be opening a new store at Lutherville Station showcasing our new store design and layout towards the end of this year. The store will carry a curated selection of books based on customer interest and also feature educational toys and games, puzzles, gifts, a vinyl collection. We are seeing a tremendous growth with reading, and as a result we expect to open another 60 stores across the country this year.”
Barnes & Noble does not have an opening date set for the Lutherville Station yet, however it is anticipated to open in late 2026 or early 2027.
