A new 7 Eleven is taking shape near the Pembroke Lane roundabout off Wade and Eastover, just east of Interstate 95 in Fayetteville, according to a recent update from FayTodayNews on Instagram. The location is expected to serve commuters, truck drivers, military families and other travelers using both I-95 and I-295.
Based on observations shared by FayTodayNews, construction is progressing steadily, with the building estimated to be roughly 30 percent complete. While an official opening timeline has not been announced, the publication noted that the store appears poised to become one of the larger 7-Eleven locations in the area.
As reported by FayTodayNews, the new convenience store will join an established travel corridor that already includes a BP with Dairy Queen and a Shell with Subway. Although many recently developed 7-Eleven locations feature branded food concepts such as Laredo Taco Company and Raise the Roost Chicken & Biscuits, the company has not confirmed whether either concept will be part of the Fayetteville store.
According to the publication, the project represents another step in 7-Eleven’s continued growth across Cumberland County, where the convenience retailer has added several new locations in recent years. Once complete, the store is expected to offer another convenient stop for motorists traveling through one of the region’s busiest highway corridors.
