Snarf’s Sandwiches is planning a new Fort Worth location. According to public filings, the restaurant will be located at 2005 Fort Worth Avenue, with construction expected to wrap by the end of the year.
What Now Dallas reached out to Snarf’s Sandwiches representatives for additional details, including an opening timeline, but did not receive a response before publication.
The Fort Worth project adds to a wave of North Texas openings What Now has tracked for the chain. What Now Dallas previously reported on Snarf’s plans to rock Dallas with a Campbell Road location in the Pavilion North Shopping Center, its move into Lakewood Shopping Center, where Director of Marketing Helen Wood told What Now Dallas the neighborhood struck the right balance between residential and local business, and, most recently, a planned location on North MacArthur Boulevard in Irving, which will join existing outposts on Preston Road.
Founded in Boulder, Colorado, in 1996 by Jimmy Seidel, Snarf’s has grown to nearly 50 locations across Colorado, Missouri and Texas. The chain built its Texas presence first in Austin, where it has opened multiple locations including spots on Burnet Road and William Cannon Drive, before pushing into the Dallas-Fort Worth market.
Each Snarf’s restaurant is designed to reflect its local community through custom décor, restored buildings and mosaics created by Colorado artist Jen Haley. The menu includes made-to-order hot toasted sandwiches like the Italian, Meatball Parm and French Dip, served on homemade bread available in white, wheat or gluten-free, alongside salads, rotating soups and a full catering menu. Snarf’s also partners with the GiftAMeal app, funding a meal at a local food bank for every photo customers share of their order.
