Victory Sandwich Bar will be ending its run in Decatur, but ownership group Vic Brands will not leave the space vacant for long. The brand is planning a quick concept pivot at 340 Church St. and will unveil Besto at the end of July, according to a recent announcement.

Vic Brands, helmed by Ian Jones and Caleb Wheelus, also operates a Victory Sandwich Bar location in Inman Park. That location will continue to operate, serving Victory’s signature sandwiches, salads and beverages.

Wheelus confirmed the concept flip with What Now Atlanta in a phone call but was not immediately available to provide further details. Rough Draft reported that Besto will serve as an American-Italian restaurant and bar, offering a counter-service lunch menu with Italian sandwiches and a full-service dinner menu featuring items such as eggplant parmesan and chicken Milanese.

Vic Brands operates multiple Atlanta concepts in addition to Victory Sandwich Shop, including Lloyd’s, The S.O.S. Tiki Bar and Stereo.
