A DMV coffee concept is brewing up a fresh pot for DC java enthusiasts. Ididos Coffee & Social has begun construction on its upcoming Rhode Island Avenue storefront, and it is documenting its journey on social media for future regulars to follow along.

Passersby will be able to see both signs of renovation and signs that announce the cafe is “coming soon” at the 1601 Rhode Island Ave, NE space. Ididos broke the news regarding the construction via Instagram post saying: “A new chapter is about to begin! We’re thrilled to announce that our new location is under construction, and we can’t wait to welcome you there soon!”

While Ididos does not yet have an opening timeline beyond “coming soon”, it does assure future visitors that the cafe will be maintaining the same standards that have already made it an area favorite, writing: “Get ready for your favorite coffee, fresh breakfast, delicious lunch, and the warm atmosphere you’ve come to love—now in a brand-new space.”

Ididos Coffee & Social is already a hit in Arlington. The new DC location will allow even more DMV diners to enjoy all the cafe has to offer. Ididos encourages interested java fans to follow it on social media for all the news fit to print, saying “Stay tuned for sneak peeks, opening day updates, and a few surprises along the way. We can’t wait to share this journey with you!”
