MADabolic is bringing its coach-led strength and conditioning concept to Jacksonville with plans to open its first local studio in San Marco later this year.

The fitness franchise has signed a lease for space at 1722 Hendricks Avenue, where owner Chris Savery is expected to begin construction this summer ahead of the studio’s anticipated opening, according to a recent company statement.

Founded in Charlotte, North Carolina, MADabolic specializes in structured strength and conditioning workouts designed to help members build strength through progressive, coach-led programming. The concept focuses on measurable progress and consistent training rather than constantly changing workouts.

Savery was introduced to the brand while living in Asheville, North Carolina, and said its disciplined approach to strength training inspired him to bring the concept to Jacksonville.

“Jacksonville has no shortage of gyms, but there are very few places built around structured strength training with professional coaching and measurable progression,” Savery said.

The San Marco studio will become MADabolic’s first Jacksonville location and expands the brand’s growing presence in Florida, joining existing studios in Oakland Park, Ybor City and Jupiter, with another location planned for Orlando’s Creative Village.
