Owners of the chicken takeout spot have plans for a new location in the city.
Ox-B’s has announced the company will be debuting a new restaurant at 7370 Sawmill Road after closing their Short North location. An opening date has not yet been announced, but it is under construction and the team has started hiring for new employees
The Short North location is being taken over by BrewDog, as What Now Columbus just recently covered. After Ox-B’s closes on July 26, work will be done to replace the storefront. President of Ox-B’s Joe Holbrook released the following statement to the community about the closure:
“Following the closure of BrewDog Short North earlier this year, we believe this is the right time to close this chapter. We’re incredibly thankful for the opportunity and for everyone who supported us along the way.” Holbrook said.
The menu at Ox-B’s has a wide range of shareables, wraps, chicken wings and salads. One of their popular shareables is the fried dill pickle chips. Signature items include the chicken and waffle fries, Ox-B’s Original Sandwich with white cheddar mac and their chili dogs.
The new Ox-B’s will operate at the plaza with Los Guachos tacos on the east side of Sawmill Road. Takumi Sushi A.Y.C.E and a Pizza Hut are also at the plaza. This neighborhood is known as the Foxboro area.
The Ox-B’s team will be sending out more information on the upcoming location as it gets closer to the opening date.
