Fort Apache Food Mart, a new grocery concept, is set to debut in Las Vegas soon. According to a Clark County permit, the new Fort Apache Food Mart is expected to open in Southwest Las Vegas, bordering the master-planned community of Rhodes Ranch, at 8950 S Fort Apache Rd.
Listed on the permit as the business owner is LV Fort Apache Pebble, LLC, a real estate holding and commercial development entity in Las Vegas associated with a 1.73-acre commercial project site in the Enterprise township. Behind the new brand is Umer Malik. What Now Las Vegas briefly chatted with Malik, who confirmed the opening. Unfortunately, Malik was unable to share further details by the time of this publication.
There is no major shopping center at 8950 S. Fort Apache Rd. in Las Vegas; that address falls near a residential and commercial section south of the Tropicana Beltway Center and Pine Plaza Retail. Both centers have a host of eateries and stores at the sites, like Ross, Walmart, and Ulta. So, the new Fort Apache Food Mart will be opening in or near good company.
Unfortunately, with no website or social media pages, it’s hard to tell what exactly the new grocery store will offer. But with a name like “food mart,” we suspect it will be a traditional grocery store, possibly on the slightly smaller side. But keep your eyes peeled and your ears perked for the latest on this upcoming opening.
