Seed Atlanta has officially opened at The Interlock. The plant shop brings houseplants and plant-related merchandise to the neighborhood. It will also host monthly events at the store, bringing together a community of plant lovers.
Seed Atlanta Opens at The Interlock in West Midtown
The locally owned plant shop, Seed Atlanta, is now open at The Interlock in West Midtown. The store sells tropical houseplants, plant accessories, and other merchandise. The new store is located in the former valet space next to Saint Germain Bakery.
The shop was founded by Campbell Washington, a Spelman College graduate. She started selling plants online in 2021 after discovering a community of plant enthusiasts during the pandemic. The business later expanded to pop-up events, a Buckhead storefront, and now its new West Midtown location.
Washington said she selected The Interlock because of her partnership with Holiday Bar and the neighborhood’s connection to the brand.
The new store is part of The Interlock, which is a mixed-use development in Atlanta’s West Midtown. The nine-acre property includes more than 105,000 square feet of retail, dining, and entertainment space. It also includes the Bellyard Hotel, 349 apartments, and 200,000 square feet of office space.

Monthly Plant Events Bring Customers Together
Seed Atlanta also hosts a monthly event called Plantini at Holiday Bar. The event combines plant shopping with espresso martinis. A $25 ticket includes an espresso martini, a plant, and complimentary repotting for purchased or personal plants.
The event also features music and opportunities for guests to meet fellow plant lovers. According to The Interlock’s management, Seed Atlanta was selected for its strong local following and community connection. The initial lease runs for six months, with an option to extend. Seed Atlanta is open Friday through Sunday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Seed Atlanta’s arrival at The Interlock adds another locally owned business to West Midtown.
