Slick City Action Park opened its first Georgia location on July 30. The park is celebrating its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and more. The venue offers a variety of attractions suitable for all ages.
Slick City Action Park Opens Its First Georgia Location
Georgia welcomed its first Slick City Action Park location on July 30. It brings the state’s first indoor dry-slide and air court park, suitable for all ages. It is located in South Cobb and is owned by Mehtab Wasi and Chase Nelson.
Slick City Action Park is the world’s first indoor slide park. It operates over 170 locations in the U.S. and continues to expand. The park also has several locations under construction or signed worldwide.
The South Cobb location features several of Slick City’s signature slide attractions. Highlights include the debut of Slick City’s new corkscrew slide. Other attractions include Fast Lane, Twin Turbo, Hyperloop, Mega Launch, and Riptide.
Families can also enjoy the Sport Air Court, Freestyle Air Court, and Swing and Trapeze. Younger children have dedicated play areas like Junior Jungle, Web Crawler, and a toddler slide.

Grand Opening Details
The grand opening of Slick City Action Park South Cobb will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. It will be attended by co-owners Mehtab Wasi and Chase Nelson, local officials, community leaders, and their families. During the event, the park will also recognize its partnership with TinySuperheroes.
Slick City Action Park South Cobb will recognize TinySuperheroes’ support of the organization’s July Adventure Mission. The mission encourages children to build confidence through play.
The public celebration takes place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. It will feature live music from DJ Pnut and appearances by 98.5 FM. The celebration will also include face painting, colorful hair extensions, family activities, giveaways, and more. The Mayor of Mableton is also expected to attend.
At around 8:30 p.m., the park will transition into Glow Night. The slides and attractions will light up while the music continues. Guests will have a chance to win prizes, including a free birthday party, admission passes, and Slick City merchandise.
The opening of Slick City Action Park South Cobb adds a new indoor entertainment option to Georgia families.
