Owners of a gym catered to women are not moving far for their new location.
The Sculpted Fitness team has announced they are moving across the street from their current location at 7116 Greenfield Road in Dearborn. This was just revealed on July 25, and it will be an even larger space. The gym will be constructed over the next few months, and owner Anwar Aburayyan told What Now Detroit she is targeting an early 2027 opening date.
“East Dearborn will forever be a part of our story and we are happy to announce our new home,” says the post from Sculpted Fitness.
The gym is described as a “women-focused fitness space” on their website. Aburayyan is a fitness enthusiast in Dearborn who had the idea of building a gym after wanting to make a lifestyle change. She said she and the team have been looking at expanding since February of this year.
The location offers 24/7 access to equipment, with memberships starting at $35 a month. Daily passes and family plans are also available. Equipment at the space includes elliptical machines, adjustable weight machines, treadmills, stretchable ropes and free weights.
The gym is under construction on the west side of Greenfield Road. Other retail concepts at the plaza include Gamal Style women’s clothing store and Nice Price home goods store. From pictures, the space is under construction and equipment has not been moved in yet.
